I read an article in Jezebel a while ago about the fascination with anal sex and i’m going to quote it now.

Obviously i’m not trying to shame anyone who’s into it, i just thought it was an interesting point about *depictions* or anal sex, not personal decisions, etc.

All right. I’m going to take a swing at this and hopefully keep the hate mail to a minimum. Because all of this hate is not fair. This guy is not a demon. He is stupid. He said something ignorant and misinformed, but I don’t think he should be criminalized. I think this is the root of the problem. People who say hateful things out of pure ignorance are written off as horrible human beings rather than educated on why what they said has harmful implications. What good does reposting his comment online, where a thousand people can voice their wishes that his butthole falls out do? Nothing. Exactly. It will probably just make him angrier and defensive.

Honestly, this dude has just probably never put it in a girls butt and probably just got rejected real hard. I think that if given the chance and a consenting partner, he would realize that all the hype is simply because it’s not as common. It hurts, it can be messy, and therefore anal sex is something elusive and sometimes desirable. It’s the El Dorado of sex and there is not always a city of gold waiting at the end.
